Marty Wisott is the founding member of RMBV. As a Chartered Financial Analyst and an Accredited Senior Appraiser with over a decade of experience as a respected business valuation professional, Marty is regularly sought after for valuation engagements. His services include the valuation and analysis of family limited partnerships, operating businesses, financial reporting valuations and corporate finance engagements. These projects have ranged from small family owned businesses to large, multi-national companies.
Marty has consulted and valued companies in a wide variety of industries, including: software, biotechnology, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution, retail, consulting/professional services, online gaming, financial services, and investment holding companies. Marty is an active member of numerous trade groups including, the American Society of Appraisers, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Colorado CFA Society. He is currently working with a team of professional appraisers, as sponsored by American Society of Appraisers Education Committee, to redesign the association’s business valuation courses.
Marty has presented to numerous industry trade groups and accounting firms on valuation issues related to estate and gift taxes, financial reporting, and owner succession planning. Prior to establishing RMBV, Marty was a Director at Quist Valuation in Broomfield Colorado. Before that, he was a Director at BDO Seidman LLP, a global, full-service public accounting firm.
He holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa’s College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Colorado State University.
